Today was the second annual running of the bulls in the french quarter. So, in honor of celebration my dad made a movie. It explains pretty much everything so please enjoy.
So… my Birthday this year will be held at Saint Patrick’s Park on the 19th. There’ll be a movie, Walk on the Wild Side, and we’ll have food/drink/watermelon. I’m going to have other stuff set up before the movie too, like watermelon smashing games, maybe a pinĂ£ta, and other random stuff I come up with. So, now for presents. I wish for some of the following items (they aren’t listed in any particular order):
all video games are for the wii
1.) Okami
2.) Lego Star Wars-the complete saga/ Lego Indiana Jones Adventures
3.) Guitar Hero III
4.) Brawl
Gift Cards to:
5.) Hardware/ Appliance stores like Home Depot or Lows
6.) Cloth/ Sewing Stores
7.) Book Stores
8.) Any other store^_^! I’m pretty sure that I could find a use for a five dollar gift card to a toilet shop in taiwan. So, any place is fine.
9.)Clothes are Fine too.
10.) I have been looking for a giant black umbrella for a while but haven’t been able to find one. I need one that is at least 5 1/2 feet wide, preferably much bigger.
One More.) Fruit!^_^ It can be coconuts, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, and anything else as long as it’s sweet and not rotten. I’ll even take squash, especially a pumpkin, if you’re able to find one at this time of the year.
So, that’s it, unless you’re in the dollar store one day and find something that’s totally cool and awesome that you think I would like. Or, you could just come to hang out and eat cake, and not bring any presents, although if you do, it shall be much appreciated. So, that’s it.
So, I think I already posted how I was going to sewing classes for this project called Worn Again? Anyways, the class is about to end, but to pull it all off, they had a fashion show. They had the coolest flyers in the world! They depicted a sewing machine and all of the parts were labeled with information on the party. They printed out the image onto different cloth materials. I made something like a gothic ballerina outfit, complete with leggings, corset, and skirt-like-piece that sort of resembles a tutu? Um… yah. Well, it looks pretty cool. Here are some pics:

And here’s Emma:

So, anyways, we didn’t know that we were going to be juried, but, I got first place in the juniors. And, as a prize, I got a fifty dollar gift card to Dirty Coast and a free sewing machine. Because of all of this, I have inspired all of my friends to not only make our own clothes, but also attempt to start our own line of clothing in an attempt to make a bit of extra money. They have some really great ideas and I can’t wait to get started!
